East Coast Trip Day 7: Mini Golf at Massanutten

It worked! The alarm went off at 7:30am and I got up! :)

Our morning was pretty easy going. We had to wait for maintenance to come check out the water on the ceiling again. They told us 8:30, but showed up around 9:00. The investigation revealed it is a leaking air conditioner line. They did what they needed to do upstairs and said it should dry up down here. We're on the look out for drooping, bubbling, continued wetness. Otherwise, it will dry and be repainted after we leave. Much better than the alternative they mentioned where they would cut a hole in the ceiling in our kitchen. I'm glad it is all fixed.

Dad and Janice were incredibly generous and purchased activity cards for all of us. The activity cards allow us to do the majority of the activities on the resort for free or at a deeply discounted price. Once we had the cards, I started making calls to preregister for some of the activities we want to do, like the Canopy Tour, Wine Tasting and Tour, and Horseback Riding. It was a more involved process than I realized it would be but I got the majority of my family's registrations done. :)

Kerrie wanted to go to the James Madison University bookstore. JMU is her alma mater and she wanted to get some gear. Her family was also going to Chik-fil-a for lunch. Taking the girls there was on my wish list for this trip too so we piled in our cars and headed to Harrisonburg. The girls ditched the Mustang's backseat for a more comfortable ride in the van with their cousins. Another Sunday drive practice for Tom and I! ;)

Lunch was first up. Then, Alora went with the Barneys to JMU while Kylin, Tom and I went to Valley Mall down the street. There was a Dick's Sporting Goods where we were able to buy some goggles and dive rings for the girls to have in the pools.

When our shopping was done, we headed back to Massanutten. Once Dad and Janice were back from their shopping excursions, Dad, Tom, Kylin, Alora, Kerrie, Todd, Avery, Andrew, Adam and I headed to play mini golf. The courses are pretty much par 3. It was a great time!
